Title: Account Manager

Position Overview

California's Valued Trust (CVT) is the states largest self-funded public schools trust specializing in healthcare benefits for the education community. CVT is currently seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with union representatives and the staff and management of schools districts within a specified territory. The position is responsible for supporting and servicing existing member districts, including but not limited to: enrollment, presenting renewals, explaining plan design, conducting on-site presentations to members and benefit committees, facilitate district and group changes and related paperwork and act as a liaison between the district and carriers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or other comparable field preferred; two to four years of account manager experience with exposure to group healthcare insurance a plus; ability to travel and make oral presentations to large and small groups.

Salary

Position offers competitive salary based on experience ($52-$60K-non-commission) plus excellent benefits package.

Miscellaneous

Exempt position requires ability to work evenings, weekends and travel when necessary .
