Title: Member Services Specialist II
California's Valued Trust is the state's largest self-funded public schools trust specializing in healthcare benefits for the education community. CVT is currently seeking a Member Services Specialist II to join their team. The position is responsible for performing duties involving the enrollment or termination of districts and subscribers including but not limited to: Act as the liaison to provide telephone assistance to subscribers, districts and providers; provide rate quotes and benefit information as requested by districts and union representatives; conduct compliance audit reviews, setup and process new district groups and resolve claims problems. In addition, the Member Services Specialist II will assist in identifying technology needs and implement technology solutions for the member services department, assist in the development and maintenance of accurate procedure manuals and assist with other projects as needed
Salary: Competitive salary (non-commission) based on experience.
Associate degree or comparable course work; applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of degree; four to six years of experience in insurance benefits, enrollment and claims administration; extensive knowledge of medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance programs; ability to travel locally or statewide as required.
Required to work occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends. May travel locally, as required.
