Anthem Blue Cross or Interplan Network

CVT offers 10 PPO plans utilizing the Anthem Blue Cross and Interplan Networks of providers that allow a district/bargaining unit to nearly customize its healthcare and pharmacy options. A unit can offer its members up to four (4) of the ten plans. These plans range from offering no co-insurance in which the participant pays nothing out of pocket in most cases, up to plans that cover 80 to 90% of the costs in most cases.

Wellness PPO Plan

CVT recently introduced the pioneering Wellness PPO Plan that gives you more options, while addressing and promoting good health as a way of life. The plan specifically targets health initiatives, including prevention and builds in rewards and credits which can be used towards out-of-pocket expenses. As a district bargained benefit, the Wellness PPO plan can be offered as a fifth PPO plan by a district/bargaining unit effective October 1, 2010.

Kaiser HMO Plans

CVT offers eight Kaiser HMO plans and a unit can choose Kaiser as long as the participants live or work in approved Kaiser zip code area. A unit can offer up to two of the plans.

PacifiCare HMO Plans

Another HMO option is PacifiCare HMO. Units can choose one health plan and one prescription plan from the six offered by PacifiCare so long as the participants live or work in the approved zip code areas.
