CVT offers 10 PPO plans utilizing the Blue Cross and Interplan Networks of providers that allow a district/bargaining unit to nearly customize its healthcare and pharmacy options. A unit can offer its members up to four (4) of the ten plans. These plans range from offering no co-insurance in which the participant pays nothing out of pocket in most cases, up to plans that cover 80 to 90% of the costs in most cases.

CVT offers eight Kaiser HMO plans and a unit can choose Kaiser as long as the participants live or work in approved Kaiser zip code area. A unit can offer up to two of the plans.

Another HMO option is PacificCare HMO. Units can choose one health plan and one prescription plan from the six offered by PacificCare so long as the participants live or work in the approved zip code areas.
