CVT Medical Plans

CVT offers multiple PPO and HMO plans, High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP), Wellness Plans, and Bronze Plans utilizing the Anthem Blue Cross or Blue Shield of California network of providers and/or Kaiser Permanente to allow a district or individual bargaining unit to nearly customize its healthcare and pharmacy options.   Availability of these plans is based on a variety of factors including participants living or working in an approved zip code area.  In addition, CVT is the first to offer five new innovative and high-performance  Sutter Health | Aetna Exclusive Provider Network (EPO) plans in Northern California.    

 PPO plans use either the Anthem  Blue Cross PPO network of providers or Blue Shield of California PPO network of providers.  Members on a PPO plan receive their prescription benefits through CVS/caremark network of providers and mail order. For more information about these carriers click here.
